Driving Directions

Directions to the Millenium Hotel: 2800 Campus Walk Ave, Durham NC

From RDU International Airport.

Note: A taxi from the airport to the hotel is typically $35, plus tip.

1. From the Airport Terminals/Rental Car, exit the airport towards Interstate 40.
2. Take Interstate 40 West towards Durham
3. After 4.0 miles, take exit 279B to Durham Freeway (NC-147) North.
4. After 10.6 miles, take exit 16B to US-15/US-501 South (locals call this "15-501").
5. After 0.4 miles, take exit 108A to Morreene Rd.
6. Turn left at the light onto Morreene Rd.
7. At the next light, turn left onto Campus Walk Ave. The hotel will be immediately on your left.

From the Southeast

1. From Interstate 95, take exit 81 for Interstate 40 West.
2. Follow all signs for Interstate 40/Raleigh/Durham.
3. Refer to the RDU International Airport Directions above.

From the Southwest

1. Take Interstate 85 to exit 172: Durham Freeway (NC-147) South.
2. After 1 mile, take exit 16B to US-15/US-501 South. 
3. After 0.4 miles, take exit 108A to Morreene Rd.
4. At the light, turn left onto Morreene Rd.
5. At the next light, turn left onto Campus Walk Ave. The hotel will be immediately on your left.

From the North

1. Take Interstate 85 into North Carolina.
2. Take exit 174 to US-15/US-501 South (locals call it "15-501").
3. Stay to the right for exits 108-C-B-A. 
4. Take exit 108-A to Morreene Rd.
5. At the light, turn left onto Morreene Rd.
6. At the next light, turn left onto Campus Walk Ave. The hotel will be immediately on your left.

Millenium Hotel to Sarah P. Duke Gardens
Free shuttles can take you from the Millenium Hotel to anywhere in Durham, but here are some driving directions to get you to the gardens. There is currently some construction on Anderson Street, so Google Maps may not get you directly to the correct parking lot. Follow these directions instead!

1. From the parking lot, turn right onto Campus Walk Ave.
2. At the traffic light, turn left onto Morreene Rd.
3. Continue straight (road becomes Towerview Rd on Duke's campus) for 1.3 miles.
4. At the end of the road, turn left at the light onto Duke University Rd.
5. After 0.3 miles, turn left at the light onto Anderson Street.  
6. Go 0.2 miles, through one traffic light, and the entrance to the gardens will be on your left.
